Ford Performance Tune installed - AUTO Stop/Start "OFF" Now

So, I had tried to disable the Auto/Start vis ForScan after I bought my SAS, which did not work. I recently just installed the Ford Performance Tune and I noticed that after turning off the Auto/Start via the button on the center console it has remained "off" upon starting the Bronco.

I am not complaining.

I dont see that the Ford Performance tuner will disable this function, I have had several updates via Sync 4, but I am not sure what made this fantastic change.

Yes with the Procal tune the A.S.S. stays where you leave it. One of the great benefits.

I did not see it in the instructions as one of the features, so I wasn't sure.

My MPG has been going up since installing the tune, MPG is not something I worry about anyway.

Yeah, one of its best features... only because the standard operation of the A.S.S. is so frigging terrible and a real PITA to be honest.

I tried to get use to it, I didn't feel it was a very smooth transition from letting off the brake and pushing the gas pedal and having the engine start up and get going again.

I feel like the F150 I drive at work is smoother

Guessing you have the slushbox and I'm gonna let you know that it's significantly more annoying when it's on a manual transmission.

My 2017 F150 3.5EB wasn't very annoying but I preferred it off... if I forgot, though, no big deal.

I have the 10 speed...which I love...just not with ASS!

It's so easy. Just read the instructions carefully and follow them exactly. I turned my Bronco to "ACC" no engine and turned everything off, the power button for the stereo and A/C and lights, then turned it off and then went through the instructions.

Apparently, there are Ford technicians, reported on B6G, that can't handle it. The instructions are very deliberate and this isn't a "just snug it up/hand-tight" job. Computers are 1s and 0s, that's entirely right or entirely wrong. I thing those techs didn't turn things off and didn't want to wheel over a battery tender and the Bronco shut off(maybe a voltage dip is enough?) partway through writing to the Bronco's computer... some bits take more time than I thought they would.

it always turns that off ...normal ...mines never bothered me lol
