Ford Denying Warranty on Another 2DR Rear Window Defrost Connector Broken

Both of mine are currently broke. Plan on trying this out though it has mixed reviews:

I tried this and it broke back off almost immediately. My defroster broke within 6 months of taking delivery, got it fixed via Ford once, but broke again almost immediately.

I live in Northern Michigan and I've never needed the rear defroster, so I'm not too worried about it. If I could get a rear lift glass without the defroster lines I would just do that.
