Hi guys,

I've had these 21 Offroad lights for a while and they have been awesome until recently. About 10 days ago after some heavy rain, the white lights stopped working. The ambers are perfect.

I contacted the reseller and was asked to check the fuses and connectors. I replaced the fuses and checked all the connections/wires, and all seemed fine. I then removed the lights completely, unplugged all the connectors, let them air out for a few days, then I cleaned them, applied Ancor Dielectric Silicone Compound to the connector pins, wrapped everything with electrical tape, and reinstalled them.

This is what they look like now

But amber lights work perfectly.

I want the white lights to work as they did/should. Any suggestions or advice would be truly appreciated.

Thanks

Not familiar with the company but those look like the same overseas lights you see that are very inexpensive. And that's why they failed... they are very inexpensive and are not quality. Sorry to tell you there's really nothing YOU did wrong, it's just the quality of the light you got. It's a poorly made/cheap overseas light.

We always try and educate our customers that you really get what you pay for and we hear constantly issues with these cheaper lights failing. Usually the biggest issue is moisture getting inside.

Look closely at the lights, do you see any moisture/condensation/fog inside. Chances are you will. If not, remove a light and shake it. Do you hear water inside?

Thanks for your response. I believe these are the same as Mabett lights, but since 21 Offroad is in Florida, I wanted to buy locally.

I just seem to have the worst luck with fog lights! First the Oracles, and now these... I should have bought some from you a long time ago, but I was trying to safe a few bucks...

What's the saying? Buy cheap, by twice? Or in my case 3 times lol

You honestly need to buy quality. I'm not trying to bash anything but the fogs you are buying are not known for being high quality (it's why they are expensive).

Buy once, cry once. I mean you can keep buying cheap but you're going to keep having issues. even if the manufacturer replaces them free, is it worth all the time/energy into replacing them constantly?

Do the Diode Dynamics and Baja Designs lights fail? YES, they sure can. But the issues are VERY VERY minimal compared to the cheaper lights. I'd say Baja Designs fail the least out of any product we sell. If I have to do 5 RMA's a year that's a lot!

I have the same lights from 21 Offroad. Actually, you can get the same lights from multiple sellers. I also had similar issues. 2 of the lights did have moisture intrusion. I contacted them and they immediately sent out replacement lights. The seem to work fine. However, the remaining 2 lights started to have issues a few weeks later. Just contacted them again and they are sending 2 more replacements. Yes, it's a pain to have to swap them out but for 1/4 of the price I'll give them a try for a bit. If the lights fail again, I'll swap them for a different/better set. When they work correctly I really do like them.

Thanks. I emailed them again this morning. I hope I get a reply.

Listen to 4x4. Buy once, cry once. Some things it pays to buy the name brand more expensive product. Lighting is one of them. I have been down the cheap road in the past and it has never worked.
