I did focal 3 way up front, focal components in rear on a audiocontrol d6.1200. The tweeters are temp mounted via vhb to the a pillars. I haven't found any a pillar tweeter mounts to my liking and have chose not to put them in the dash as above because it is not the ideal way to project a tweeters sound.

Yes, please post some photos. I am also debating between 3 way or 2 way.

I don't really see the benefit of running 3 way with 2 seperate components flush mounted in the dash. May as well just use a concentric 4" 2 way driver like the audio control PNW. You can always run new wire to bypass the crossover and run it active.
