I am going to replace the transmission pan with a PPE, so that I can do simple "drain and fill" services myself along the way. I know about the required fill tube part, and the heat glove needed.

What I am looking for are recommendations on a transfer pump that would make it as easy a possible to get the new fluid from the bottle to the transmission. I would prefer electric if possible, or air charged. I don't really want to wrestle with a hand pump while underneath the car. Anyone have a general recommendation that would work well for this type of service? Wouldn't mind if it could be used for the differentials and transfer case too, but if not, no big deal.

Many thanks in advance!!

Have a look at the Motive Fluid exchange. It’s a gallon bottle, pump, flexible tube. Very well made and works great. The more you pump the faster the flow.

Used it for diff gear oil changes and transfer case. I plan to get that same trans pan that you have, the PPE. Isn’t it pressurized or something?

Got my Motive on Amazon, but there are many retailers and a few options.

I bought the Mityvac MV6400 which appears to be the same one Ford shows in the service manual.

Thanks guys! Going to give the Motive a try. About $100 less than the MityVac. The pan was about $300, Ford refill tube, gauntlet glove, pump, and a new filter from the dealership. Looking like around $550 total to make the change over. I'm going with the Amsoil AFT since I have a lot of it left over from when I flushed out my last car's transmission with it. Bought way too much. Made a huge difference on that car with no issues.

I'm getting a good amount of "click/clank" in my gearbox when going into D or R when not 100% up to operating temp. I'm thinking it's possibly filled to the bare minimum as well, like I've discovered with the diff's and transfer case. Will be happy when I get this one done and see how it performs!

Won't lie... I use Harbor Freight for this. Specifically an older version of this guy... because it enables me to do DIY brake bleeds easily. I think the 2.7L Bronco has some fancy automatic brake bleed thanks to the electric brake boost, but if you have other vehicles with vacuum boosts, highly recommended.

To actually get fluid into the vehicle I use a hand pump, which I know you said you weren't interested in. But the only fluid I use it for is transmission fluid. For differentials and gearboxes I usually buy the bagged oil similar to the oil below... which has eliminated the need to use a pump.
