Where are you located? I'm in Northeast Georgia, on days when it was in the twenties the heat was still okay, but if my feet got cold or I was outside for a long time and then I try to jump in the Bronco to go, the lack of floor heat was noticeable.

My other vents were perfectly fine and the vehicle would get warm eventually just like any other car, but there was a noticeable lack of warm air on your feet.

Is it the end of the world? No, but not something you expect from a brand new vehicle.
Norther Wisconsin.

The floor heat ducts for my back seats didn’t clear the openings in my washout floor covering. I adjusted them and it works fine.

I had the same thing. Didn’t help. Then I removed the plastic part of the duct altogether. Still nothing. You could stick a pat of butter inside the duct and it wouldn’t melt…

Well there is no denying you're definitely in the cold.

I wonder if it has anything to do with 2.3 versus 2.7?

I would also like to compare manual versus automatic because maybe the heat's blowing behind the clutch pedal where your foot really can't get to where it's blowing on the manual? I believe we are all rational and smart enough to have valid opinions so something is definitely going on. I'm driving a manual and it feels like when I push the clutch in my foot gets hot air but when I'm actually driving I don't feel anything because it feels like the hot air is behind the clutch pedal.

When I put my floor heat on high I can hear it blowing, but I barely feel anything. Are you all experiencing the same thing?
Try closing the upper vents for a bit and go max heat/cool. I had this happen, but have good floor heat now. I'm definitely a windows down, heat on the feet dude and could not live with out it.

So nobody can confirm that there is a way to have only the floor vents blowing, like I did with my vehicle? I would think it enough of us confirmed that the ducting is properly routed, we could at least try to get @Ford Motor Company 's attention so they could simply run a software update to make the baffles properly shutoff airflow.

It's hot here now, so it just hasn't come up lately... 🥵

I will try it out by tomorrow. Been working on Mustang projects so haven’t been able to get to it. Thanks for your troubleshooting up to this point.

But did you try what I did to see if it increased the air pressure by fully closing off the windshield and chest vents?

Indeed. I haven’t yet tried this suggested fix, though:

Were you closing the vents on the control panel or on the vents themselves?

Thanks

Airflow is strong when I put my controls on defrost and/or face vents, but when I set the controls to floor only, or any other setting, nothing comes out of the underseat vents.
