I just got a Fitcamx dash camera , for my 2024 Outerbanks, it appears the connector supplied is wrong for the Bronco . I am enclosing pictures the connectors don’t seem to match . Has anyone else had the same installation problem?

just did mine last week and it fit right in, you have to use the wire that goes into the The mirror, put the jumper wire in between and 1900 The skinny wire into the camera and it works fine for me.

You use the wire that unplugs from the mirror. The giant connector does not go into the oem-look housing. None of the website pictures show the driver's side where the ugly harness remains exposed. I have the fitcam in another car and it looks great because it's all hidden. The fitcam in the Bronco is not a good look.

Absolutely that’s where I got confused thought the Fitcamx connection went under the plastic housing

If you want a cleaner look for the wiring, there is a different company (on amazon) with the same housing design that uses the plug inside the cover rather than the mirror. I have no experience with either, just an observation.

Why is it not a good look on the Bronco? I haven't seen one in person, but I was considering one.

Watching...

It looks like the Mangoal cam uses the lane assist harness and hides all the wiring in the housing?
Anyone had experience with this one?

I admit either the mangaol or fitcamx are on my list, and the mangaol is in the lead since I don’t have a powered backup mirror and don’t really want to run a line all the way down the A pillar to the fuse box or OBD port

From my research the fitcamx software sounds a bit more mature, but it can potentially have issues with loop recording? I don’t know - just from poking around on other reviews

Don't know what that's about. I have a FitcamX front and rear. Only a small portion of the front cam housing is visible below the rear view mirror from eye level, not noticeable from the outside at all unless you know what to look for.

My only complaint is my fault. I stuck the rear camera on crooked because I did it with the rear glass up, and it is super noticeable in the rear view, lol.

I will say the wifi connection to view files is mildly annoying, but you can just pull the SDXC and look on a laptop or desktop.

This product is listed as compatible with the 2021–2024 Ford Bronco and Bronco Raptor (6th Gen, U725).

Has anyone successfully installed and used it on a 2025 Bronco Raptor?
Amazon’s AI tool indicates it’s not compatible with the 2025 model, and I’ve also reached out to FITCAMX directly for confirmation and currently awaiting their response.

Wont work. Which is why they have a separate listing for 25+ preorders
