Final advice before I pull trigger

So I think I want to go with this set up. Any thoughts? I am probably going to go with sas flairs. Will these poke a little? Any thing I need to know when ordering tires and rims?

I would also go with a D or E load range. E seems most common on most of the tires that I looked into. That’s what I got, and they’re much stiffer than the C load factory tires, F would be even stiffer. And I would go with a 17” rim instead of 18. They‘ll soften up more when you lower the tire pressure to drive off road. Nothing wrong with what you chose, but if you’re asking for honest opinions, that’s mine. I like the style of the rims, and the Nittos are great.

Yep just depends on whatcha doing. D is a happy compromise.

Like most things in automotive design, tire load ratings are a trade-off.

C-rated tires are lighter, have fewer plies, more flexible sidewalls, so ride smoother, but are more prone to cuts and punctures, which are prevalent off-road hazards. E-rated tires are heavier, have more plies, less flexible sidewalls, so ride stiffer, but are less prone to cuts and punctures.

If you plan to spend a lot of time off-road, you may want stiffer tires like E-rated tires that are more durable in an off-road environment. If you plan to spend most of your time on-road, you may want lighter, more flexible tires like C-rated tires for a smoother ride quality on-road.

Checkout these guys. They have really good info on their YouTube channel about tires and rims. They will even send you wheels mounted and balanced and just have install them. Give them a call might be easier.

I have E as well. Pressures is what makes or breaks a hard or soft ride. I run at 25 psi. Soft as oem ride.

Did you use forscan or something to change where the low tire pressure warning comes on? I run 31psi cold on Es, but when I air back up after going off road, I have to air it up to 35 to make the warnings go away, then let it back down to 31. Any lower than that, the pressure warnings come back on. You’re right though, even at 31, the E loads are still stiffer than the C load goodyears at 39.
