There are no fuses, Power comes directly from the BdyCM (Body Control Module) Which is coincidentally, what you have to change in Forscan as well, if you go to BdyCM in Forscan, There are several options for it, I Used "Fog Only" for it to work the way one would normally expect..

Sorry if this was asked before but how many amps can that circuit handle?

been having an issue for a while

every now and then, the parking lights that i have turned on, including the marker and identification lights as well as the rear parking lights get shorted to ground. what are the chances that the switch i installed is broken or defective? and its not an issue with my wiring?

Anything is possible but would first investigate the rear lights. Maybe they are just pulling too much power.

Think the combined total for my rear parking lights is less than 1 amp.

Finally completed my fog light install. I did the front over 2 years ago, got around to doing the rear this weekend. As stated in many posts, swap the switch assembly for the correct model with both fog buttons, program in fordscan.

Fronts are plug and play with the dongles, rear a bit more annoying. Made up a harness for two Baja designs rtl-m lights (red tail/brake & white). Added in the rear fog pin to the stock harness, a relay, diodes and a taillight tap. Red rear fog turn on with the switch, extra reverse lights turn on only when rear fog are on and in reverse (didn't want them every time). Left a connector for additional means of turning on reverse lights, but not connected to anything (the reason for the diodes).

Reverse lights draw power from the taillight tap, rear fog circuit only powers fog and the relay.
