Hi All. First post here. My wife just picked up a new 24 Bronco Wildtrak. We were looking at bumper to bumper extended warranties. I've been reading some of the posts on here and knew about the online resellers for the warranty but the dealer is also offering a pretty good one. Out of these options which do you think would be the better deal.

- Online: Ford Premier 8yr / 125k mile for ~$2600
- Dealer: Aftermarket 150K miles unlimited years for ~$4000

Both cover the same components and have $100 deductibles. Both are transferrable.

My wife tends to keep her vehicles for a long time (last one was 12 years) and usually only puts on ~12k per year.

They were one of the dealers I was looking at for the online one I mentioned.

I am in a similar situation with my 24 Wildtrak and am doing the research currently. I am only considering the factory ESP options (10yr/100K) as past experiences with aftermarket warranties have not been favorable. If going aftermarket, read the fine print!

I would never buy an aftermarket warranty. As a technician I constantly see how awful they are. Claiming to cover things and then only covering a small portion of the whole repair.
