My wife took a short trip yesterday (5 miles each way, so the vehicle barely warmed up). Engine light came on during the return trip.

FordPass app indicates:
Your Service Engine Soon Alert is on due to an issue with the exhaust pressure sensor. This can cause reduced engine power.

2024, 2.3, 4600 miles
😐
Anyone know where this part is located or any possible causes for this? Of course, she's planning to leave today for a couple days at the beach with three friends, probably just under 200 miles each way. I'm assuming it's drivable without causing further damage, since it falls under the "soon" category and not "immediately."

Ford pass only gives generic messages.
If I had to guess, it might be referring to the EGR pressure sensor, but who knows.
You’d either have to look up the code to see specifically what happened.
I would just bring it to your dealership and let them diagnose it.

Dealership service centers are my absolute last resort, especially if it's something I can fix myself for a reasonable price.

Here's what Forscan shows:

It likely is referring to the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) pressure sensor, as there's nothing I can find that's just called "exhaust pressure sensor."

Yeah it is.
So probably either going to the sensor itself, or some type of wiring issue to the sensor.

Thank you very much for that diagram! As far as I can tell, the wires are ok. Only a couple inches from the sensor to a larger bundle... I reset the code and plan to have her drive it for her trip later today. If it's back when she returns, I'll probably try replacing the sensor (cheap enough) and see what happens. More on that later...

Have you done any engine modifications that require premium fuel, 93?

No engine mods, completely stock. Only thing that's been done was an oil change a little over a week ago.

Cleared the code, test drove it, but only about 6 miles, and everything seemed fine. It also seemed fine while the light was on, as far as we could tell. 🤷‍♂️ So, off she goes! I told her don't worry if the light comes on again, but let me know. At least I can check through the app to see if it's the same thing.

Also, topped up the coolant, since it was a tad below min since new...

Well, about 200 miles today, and she reached her destination without the light coming back on. Sensors can be weird. We'll see.
