I have a DV8 competition rear bumper that has worked well for me except for the mounting hardware from the frame bracket to the bumper it self.
the stock hardware is ~8mm and uses speed nuts into the bumper to mount. The speed nuts appear undersized for the holes in the bumper and start to pull through.
The holes are about 14mm in the bumper and bracket so I went with 1/2” hardware. Made up some nut plates I could drop in and fasten the bumper more securely. Hoping this keeps the bumper in place better when it encounters a trail obstacle.
Overall I love the bumper and it’s worked out well for me aside from the hardware issue.
