Dropped valve issue 2nd engine in a month

I'm currently waiting for my second engine replacement on my 2023 Braptor. 3 days after the first replacement from a Camphaser issue I ended up stranded on the highway. Ford is telling me I had a drivetrain issue and a valve dropped. Do you think this could be related to the first engine being replaced or just poor quality control. What else should I be concerned about when a dealer has had to replace two engines in a month?

I let Ford know that i'm going to be pursuing that. Just need to wait and see how Ford responds before I engage an attorney any further. Hoping that Fords makes it right, but so far I haven't seen anything that would indicate a customer focused resolution.

No, I asked if I could get a diagnostic report, but dealer told me that they just crate the engine up and send it back to Ford. Ford doesn't supply the dealer or the customer with the findings.

Conceal and cause silence, so crappy. There must be some law surrounding this. Maybe 100% warranty issues are exempt.

Wow. That’s crazy. Good luck. I can hear my camphaser rattle when I first start the engine. Been like that since day one

I had a friend go through 2 warranty engines on his 350, Ford bought it back... First engine dropped a valve, then they replaced it with another bad engine from the warehouse.

That must be frustrating as hell. I wonder what the serial number was on the replacement engine.

Finally got the Braptor back! Unfortunately 170 miles later the turbo blew and catalytic convertor needs to be replaced!

Trying Ford is telling me they are in review still 30days after I let them know. I have hired a lawyer, but what a pain.

Definitely shouldn't take a lawyer to LL a vehicle. Laws are pretty clear. Regardless, best of luck to you. I can't imagine how I would be feeling and behaving.
