So, planning on keeping the Bronco for a while. Any recommendations of how to maintain the integrity of the outside edge of the drivers seat?

Replace seat heaters in 4 yrs!!? Really! Is Ford quality that bad? I've had heated seats in several vehicles from Subarus to Rams, typically keep a vehicle for ~10 yrs and never had to replace a seat heaterYou can order an extra seat bottom cover while they are still in production or look for one on eBay from a wrecked vehicle that is in good shape (will need to use your vin# to check and make sure the correct one when ordering). Chances are if you have heated seats you will be replacing the seat heater in the 4 to 6 year mark and would want to replace it with a new one anyhow. I bought 2 and was about $175 each for the MGV for my badlands.
I owned 2 different Ford Focus hatchbacks. Ten years later, the heated seats on both of them are capable of cooking my a$$ in February. So, I expect nothing less than 10 years with my new Bronco.Replace seat heaters in 4 yrs!!? Really! Is Ford quality that bad? The seat heaters in my wife's 2013 Subby Outback still work fine. The seat heaters in my 2004 BMW 330i are also still going strong. As long as the Bronco's go bad in the first 8 years I don't care (extended warranty). I'll be ticked off if they die in 9 yearsReplace seat heaters in 4 yrs!!? Really! Is Ford quality that bad?
