After washing my ‘24 Badlands I noticed the driver side door has been rubbing on the body at the very end of the door. I haven’t taken my doors off (yet) so they are aligned as they were from the factory.

I want to get this touched up so it doesn’t start rusting at these bare metal spots, but I obviously want to figure out how to keep that from rubbing before I fix the paint. Any suggestions? Should I take this to the dealer and see what they say?

Oh yeah there’s definitely a misalignment issue here. The best way to go about it is not to mess with it and take it straight to the dealership. If you try to fix it yourself, the dealership might deny the claim so I would agree with the comment above and suggest taking it to the dealer without trying anything yourself. They should also take care of touching up the areas that got rubbed off

My driver door has the same problem. I took it to my dealership’s body shop twice to have it fixed but it was still rubbing. That body shop has since gone out of business. I took it to another dealership in the next town over and left it with them overnight. It is still rubbing. I haven’t removed my doors either.

Thanks everyone. Stopped by the dealer last night. Talked to service and they told me I need to talk to the body shop side, which had already closed. So I’ll take it by again tomorrow so they can photograph it and get the warranty repair in motion.

My doors still suck, but the body shop did make mine better.
