So, without a cup holder in the back, I've had my kids use those nets to store their drinks (mostly sports water bottles). Well, yesterday, my daughter's phone fell through the netting. She noticed the bottom has ripped in the netting. Looking at all of them, it seems they are showing significant wear near the bottom after only 2 years of use. Anyone else experiencing this? Also, has anyone tried replacing the rear ones? Call me crazy, but I prefer netting over a rigid storage piece. I just wish it lasted more than 2 years.

I'm not sure if you could get that covered under warranty with Ford or not. May be worth a simple inquiry - Worst case they say no and you're back to square one. It's one of those things that I know it's see regular usage/"wear & tear," but it's also wearing out prematurely (if it's not being abused), so I'm not sure where they'd stand on it.

At the very least, they should be able to provide you with a part number.

The netting left in place with a plastic pocket is the ticket. You get the best of both.

the rear netting isnt removable I thought. I think it is plastic welded to the door panel. My front netting was ripped at the bottom after the first month. It was replaced with a bartact door bag. I dont know what rear door options you have though.

If you can get a part number, you can replace the front nets.

the rear nets are going to be more difficult. I am not aware of any non-drill aftermarket options out there for the rears, which implies there is no clean way to remove those to be replaced

I knew as soon as I drove the Bronco at Off Roadeo in Aug 2021 that the door netting was gonna be the first thing to crap out. Go ahead and get the M2M door pockets
