Door handle bolt?

I made a blunder and I need some help. I’m attempting to wrap my bronco and removed a door handle, but when trying to install the handle back I dislodged the nut into the bottom of the door sill. Luckily I could remove the door and fish it out. How in the heck to I get the bolt back threaded? Do I have to take the door completely apart? I may be in over my skis. Son of a…

Does it sticks to a magnet? If yes, then magnetize the socket that fits it and put that socket on an extension.

That isn't the issue. The flange on the nut needs to go behind the black piece but there isn't enough room. I've tried taking the door apart to find a different angle....but I don't want to get to the point of no return. I may have to take it in to the dealer.

I ended up taking it to the dealership and they fixed it. Was a costly mistake.

You would need to remove the door latch assembly to put the screw back into the exterior door handle reinforcement.
