Before somebody blows me out of the water, I have searched this forum, which I have been a member of for 1.5 years and check regularly. I know (or thought I knew) that the only way to get Advancetrac on BB was to squatch it. But I have the 4.27 gears with the rear locker, and when I switch to 4low, it says disabling Advancetrac. Am I confused?

Does having 4A (4 Auto) mean you have Advancetrac and if no 4A then no Advancetrac?

Advancetrac is in every ford. You can disable traction control by pressing down the button, this still leaves advance trac on until you hold the trac button until the message appears its off. Its nothing fancy juat throttle and break control. Just like rsc (roll stability control) most suv/truck platforms already have this.

To add to this, entering 4lo on any ford 4x4 auto disables advance trac..being youd want only your own input in this mode rather than a computer deciding the ammount of throttle and break to apply

Advanctrac is just Fords name for stability control. ALL Fords have it.

I think you're getting it confused with the advanced transfer case.
I definitely did.
