Outer Banks 4 door - came with the Bestop Soft Top ... not the OEM Ford soft top.

Watching the video below at point 4:41.... my soft top does NOT have this accessory. Where/how can I get one?

You would have to replace your Bestop top with an OEM top to have that feature.

Well, your current top has other advantages:
  • its simpler with fewer mechanical linkages
  • the back window can be flipped up completely out of the way, even further than the pivoting OEM top
  • your side windows aren't droopy
Maybe you can find someone to trade for their OEM, but prepping a vehicle for the Bestop is a decent 3-4 hour effort.

Thank you so much for your insights.

Yeah I paid $700 to get the soft top put on while I store the hardtop

I’m trying to decide if it’s worth even pursuing this or not. I was hoping I could just buy an accessory to add to the top I have but I don’t think that’s going to be an option.

Overall do you think that top I have is better and just stick with it?

You sound very knowledgeable on the topic

Again thank you so much for your insights

I'm just consolidating some of the info from around here. I've been living with an OEM soft top since last October and have grown to love it. Had you picked up an OEM soft-top, removing it for the winter would require two people to remove comfortably, but could be off the vehicle in under 5 minutes and you'd be immediately ready to put the hard top back on. I would think the Bestop already assembled can come off in an hour or so.
