I use it a lot offroad. The Bronco has a big nose and I like to see down there when going over more precarious terrain.

Normal driving I also use it a lot for parking/reversing (obv) the 360 view is awesome in parking lots.

The cameras are extremely helpful, I use them all the time wheeling. Bridges, tight trees, lining up obstacles, seeing the trail when going over steep hills, etc. I also have to use the cameras to park in the garage, tight fit.

I use it Off road in 4Lo All The Time. When I’m on inclines above 15 degrees I can’t see past the hood and rely on the camera to make my turns.

Glad I'm not the only one whose brakes sound like that 😅

I use the 360 cameras everyday, couldn’t imagine not having them. The off-road views are incredibly useful when running the washed out/rutted trails and cresting steep hills. Aside from the trim level it was my 2nd non-negotiable when ordering/searching for my ride.

For these off you with High and above, do you actually use the trail cameras when off road? The cameras are cool and all, but I have to wonder if I'd actually use them. For example, my cell phone can do all kinds of crazy things, but I only use about half of them.

I bought a mid package bronco. My order with Lux got scheduled today. So just trying to figure out whether to keep my current or trade it in on my order. My dealer is one of the good ones, so want to let them know pretty soon what i'm doing.
Your use of them will depend on what type of 4x you will be doing. If you are doing difficult trails, you will definitely be glad that you have them and you will use them. If all you will be doing is easy to moderate trails, they will not come in handy for you.
Base you decision on a realistic idea of how you will use your Bronco. I use mine all the time...

I wheel alone and have used it a ton. Helps me when I’m driving steep inclines and I can’t see above the hood. Also helps in narrow rocky areas where wheel placement is important. Reverse cam get used on the trail to make sure I don’t fall off the ledge during a turnaround. Overall it’s been useful to me.
I echo this. i went off roading last weekend at Rauch Creek, and when going up an incline the front camera is very helpful. I will also say the 360 view defiintely helps with parking spots to avoid those non-offroading dents :)

This is such a crap from Ford that no High package on Heritage, so no 12in screen and no cameras.
Honestly, i would be happy with a standalone camera package.

I haven’t used them much off road, but they’re super helpful when parking in tight spots at the mall!
THIS!
I occasionally use it when approaching tricky angles out at my hunting lease, but I use it every day when I back into my garage to make sure that I am as far forward as I can be and still shut the front door.

I use them off-roading all the time. So much, that I wish I could keep the camera on while in 4H. Only 4L let’s you keep the trail cams on while driving.
I wish I could just leave it on in any mode or drive (2WD/4H/4L). If you can use Forscan to unlock “Baja“ mode, this will allow you to keep it on full time in 2WD or 4H. At least that’s how it works in the Raptor.

the downside is you have very aggressive shifting unless you are in manual shifting which is actually better with paddles. I’m not a big fan of the automatic lurch from 1st to 2nd.

They are great for understanding your approach. Also if you are about to lose a wheel over and edge. However the depth perception can be misleading. My wife still spots me in those tough areas, but I love being able to utilize her direction and the cameras. To me Lux is not worth, but the high package is mostly due to the 360 cameras.

Use them all the time. Found out that I can be in Trail control mode in 4H with them on as long as I stay under 7 mph.
Does anyone know if it's possible top program the 360 cameras (trail) to stay active at higher speeds?
