That should work fine. there might be some balling, but you just let off, let it cool and keep going. As long as you have clearance to swing the fender around in the air you should be fine.

Amazon.com: Mini Iron, 80W Tiny Iron for Small Crafts Patches Clothes Shoes Hats, Adjustable Temperature, Easy to Use, with Replaceable Iron Tips (Black) : Home & Kitchen

This is what I used for the finishing touch after sanding, to melt to two surfaces back together. Around the 250-300C range. (Bought for another project, but has come in handy for several plastic related projects already)
I never knew that a flat iron could be soooo sexy...

Shoot, come to think about it, this will be awesome for my e-dirtbike fenders that I've cracked (I'm ashamed to admit that I had to re-acclimate doing wheelies/instant torque curve of the electric POWA vs my old 2 stroke).

I did high clearance flares too. Mine are a little squishy.

"Squishy" might actually be the desired result. I've had a few situations in off-camber situations where I had to back-out of an obstacle because I thought the stock fenders were too brittle when they were resting on a tree. Being squishy would have inspired me "power out" instead of backing-out".

Yes, I know... it's ironic that I am more excepting of panel damage than cracking a fender. :)

Do these two products work together? Or are they independent of each other?
its 2 separate products, from 2 different companies.
I included the links
my photos show them working together

you install the flare delete, then install the rubber flares on-top.
you need to use special tape with primer, and its good to add some screws at critical points.

So do you remove the Flexy flares when wheeling? Or leave them on? Is the purpose of the RPM fender delete to have a more polished look beneath the flexy? How is the tape used that you mention?

I don't take off the flexi flares ever, they are ultra compact and permanently attached to the flare deletes.
My only "wheeling" is on fire roads and yes it can get narrow that's why my bronco is focused on being narrow.
the tape is just attaching the flexi flare to the flare delete - and also a few screws.
pretty common stuff
the purpose of the flare delete is to give something for the flexi flare to attach to.
if you take off your flare you can see its a lumpy area filled with holes, you cant attach a rubber extrusion to that

A 3" body lift solves this.
do body lift kits make squeaky sounds between the body and frame or are the lift pucks the same material or better than oem?

I got mine from Mikellis and zero squeak or issues.
Dense UHMW material, chamfered and ready to go.
The challenge is lifting the body up high enough using common jacks and such above like 1.5", keeping it lined up for rebolting.

So you guys with more than 1" body lift (and excuse me for hijacking the thread just a bit)

You didn't have any issues with brake lines or any wiring harnesses or anything? I did a 3/4" lift and there was a sensor for the A/C compressor (maybe? I've had a few beers since) somewhere in the front passenger side where I had to cut back a bunch of ties because it got really tight, and 3/4" is a long way from 3".

To bring it back to the thread topic a bit - I also have Mikellis - excellent, no squeeking. Very easy to do - took about 20 minutes max. It was much less agressive than what some here have done though, but I only wanted just enough to get my tires to clear, and I have some suspension lift already.
