Just in case some folks did not know, ya'll can get black, chrome, and probably polka dot tips for much much cheaper from the in store racks at you local (big name or small name) auto parts store. Also, you can get a "high performance cat/axle/booty/doggy-back custom exhaust" unbranded muffler from Amazon or locally as well

The JOLLY20 code is working on the Ford Performance axle-back. Some indicated it was basically, if not, the Borla S with a Ford label.

I went ahead and ordered one since the code dropped it to about $315.

It was one of several inexpensive things I've ordered in advance of delivery...Xmas gifts to me LOL! After all...Santa never defined naughty...

I already have a cat-back Borla Touring system that I got on one of those crazy Amazon price drops ($890 to $580). I'm fairly happy with it, just wish it had a deeper throatier tone. I'm curious to hear how this axle-back compares.
I figure this deal won't last long, it's either overstocked or discontinued..... get it while you can!

The only thing that has been holding me back is the fact that I have the tow package. Does anyone know if these can be properly installed on a Bronco with the tow package???

Gosh, unless I’m missing something, I don’t see how it would make a difference. It’s designed to work with the factory hanger location on the passenger side…. Maybe that second pipe that comes back to the driver side could possibly interfere with the hitch??

None of these FP exhausts made by Borla interfere with the Bronco OEM tow package and they all use the stock mounting points as previously mentioned and have the sound level of the S-Type as far as I can tell. I say if you are after one of these I would score one with the deep discount... looks like the 2.7 version is still in stock on the website... Here's a pic of the side of the box the exhaust will arrive in... (at least our high clearance version did)!

Use Jolly20 (20% additional discount) because it is under $500 from the current discounts. With any Ford points it is easy to get down into the $250 range.

At that price for a Borla muffler I think it is worth the shot. I can always cut off the tips or paint if I hate them. I’m an old man, so I’m ok with chrome tips.

Well darn, I bought the Borla Sport version (all black) over the summer, would have lived with the chrome tips to save $800.

The high clearance version looks to be the same as the Borla clearance version except the Borla version includes tips, even though all are made by Borla.

This is a good price, Borla and similar names almost always want $1k+ which is silly for a muffler...sometimes I think these terms like "axle back" and "performance exhaust" are just used to try to confuse you into thinking your getting something more than a mere muffler

Did you get the 2.3 or 2.7? Can’t find an option to buy the 2.3 anywhere.
