I had to buy a car last year, so I cancelled my Bronco order (7/21) from a local dealership. Now, they are contacting me to let me know my Bronco is delivered. Lol. Should I buy it to keep, buy it to flip, or just let the dealer know that I'm not interested and let them sell it with the markup? I ordered a Black Diamond, 7 spd manual, hardtop with a roof rack. Was going to use it primarily as daily and for camping and very minor overlanding. Ended up buying a '19 4Runner last Dec. which I love. I know... 1st world problems.

If you can swing it, take it. If you can't, don't. If you can, drive it next to your 4Runner in real life for a month, find your likes and dislikes, and go from there. They'll both have extremely strong resale (possibly over MSRP, even used).

As Slug says, these problems are the good ones to have.

I sold my beloved 93 4Runner for my Bronco, and almost bailed on my order for a new 4Runner. Even as a Toyota fan I'm glad I waited for the Bronco. I LOVE it. I offer that opinion for whatever it's worth.

Two door or four door? The two door is short on cargo room for over landing, but I love the way it drives. My wife drives a 2021 Tacoma TRD OR, it’s a great truck that does everything pretty well, probably like your 4 runner. There is no wrong answer on this decision, but I will warn you that manual Broncos don’t bring the resale of automatics. With sales tax and dealer fees you might net a few grand, not worth the flip to me. With the coming/current recession and high interest rates getting worse, it might be better to stick with what you have and like. If you are paying cash then buy it and see what happens.

Bronco really is unique, well designed, well made even with a few production hiccups, which Ford makes good on. I have 20,000 miles in one year on my OBX, and my Son and I are currently on 2 week road trip from Charleston to the Austin Off-Roadeo this Monday. The MIC top holds up well, no leaking during today's thunderstorms from New Orleans through Houston to San Antonio.

BTW, it's a shame the manuals aren't as popular. Drove one for a Rodeo event, and Bronco manuals are so easy to drive.... almost impossible to stall at low speed. Ability to row my own gears is one of the reasons that drew me to Bronco.

Is that all... I am closing in on 44,000 on my OBX this week.

Trade in the 4Runner. Bronco top and doors come off and it’s a Manual.

If Toyota ever made a 4Runner with removable top and manual again, I would definitely be interested.

The Bronco is gonna be a lot more fun than

Well, you have me beat! Did you do the front axle boot replacement? Bronco Nation had a bulletin on it.

Yes you will. We will be in a full blown recession by Then. Market is already changing. Rates are going up and up.

Test drive it when it comes in, if you like it better than your 4Runner then trade it, if not then walk away from the order. I'd be surprised if any dealer actually cancelled any Bronco orders just so they have stock, if you don't pick it up someone else will.
