It was a little scary today. I took my mother to physical therapy today and when she was done I started the Bronco and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. The ABS light and traction control lights were on. The dash showed that there were no GOAT modes driveable and there was no pre-collision assist avaliable. drove slowly to get home thankfully I didn't have far to go. when I pulled into the driveway the lights had gone off. I got my mom in the house at started the Bronco again and there were no lights or warnings and the GOAT modes were back. I made an appointment for Monday morning with the dealer, but does anyone have an idea what could have caused it?

On a side note the Automatic updates will not connect and I can;t access the updates through the Ford Pass either, so that will be looked at also.

The Bronco is a 2024 OBX non Sasquatch, 934 miles I purchased this May.

Well that sucks...
I don't know if it's the same issue I had.
When my dash lit up it also caused the power steering and brakes to fail...turned out to be loose wires at the fuse panel under the hood. I found this by grabbing the main harness between the fuses and the firewall, it's over an inch thick, and moving it around the power came back on.
Good luck, the Ford techs couldn't find the issue after several attempts.

Also, Broncos have been known to do something like this while fiddling with drive controls, like pushing too many buttons and/or GOAT modes over a short period of time...

Like you, I have a 2024 OBX non-SAS with less than 1000 miles on it. I had similar issues with the vehicle I traded in for my Bronco - a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Quirky electronic issues that would seemingly correct themselves by parking the car and turning it off - start it back up, no sign of the same issues. I haven't had anything like that happen yet on my new Bronco but I'll definitely be on the look out.

Isn't the normal IT fix; turn it off and turn it back on? Or reboot?

I’ve gotten random alarms as well... Came on for a few seconds and disappeared. Never came back. It was pretty early after I bought it in 2022. Maybe an update fixed the glitch.

So funny story- was out wheeling this past weekend and got it stuck in a deep mud rut and exact same thing as you- ABS, traction control, collision assist and GOAT modes- exact same 4 systems- all down.

well with no 4x4 I had to call for recovery. Learning something new every time😂

OK so here is a little update with more to come later. I brought the Bronco to my Dealer this morning. After talking with the guys there they scanned the truck and it showed an ABS sensor code. They told me that all those system lights that lit up are all connected. So they are going to check all of it out, gave me a loaner and I was on my way. I will let you know what they find or don't find as soon as I know.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was just excessive wheel slip (being in the mud and all), and the 4wd system just kinda shuts down thinking something is broke. I've seen this situation in snow as well - get hung, one wheel looses traction and goes free wheeling (open diffs and all), and if it sees too much of that (you trying to get unstuck, for instance) it thinks you just broke your diff and faults. It does have some sort of timer or counter, so it doesn't flag instantly, but do it enough and it gives up.

Sometimes if you just reset the code, it will pick back up and get you going again.

That would be fine if it was slippery from rain or snow but it was a sunny day. And this was in the parking lot after I started my truck and put it into reverse, it stayed on for 5 min while I was driving home and then went off. Better be safe then sorry especially when I have to take my mom back and forth to doctor appointments and therapy.
