Dash repair

Been a member since the beginning of March when I bought my bronco. Just lurking. Never really had much to contibute but was hoping someone could offer some advice. I nicked the dash in front of the pass side. It's all I see as soon as I open the door. Does anyone have a suggestion on how I might fix it without having to buy a new one? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could try filling it & respraying the area, but honestly I'd just enjoy the patina as your rig gets worn in.

Mine came from the factory with a few paint nicks around the screen bezel area.

Ya i'm almost to the point i'll prob just leave it just wondering if anyone had a fix or a suggestion. Thought about filler and paint also but i'm by no means an auto body guy and worry i'd make it worse.

There are panorama stickers that look good there. I can't remember names, but someone on this board has one. Maybe @Beach_Bum

I have a few scratches right near my screen that kinda drive me nuts. Makes no sense except that I look there a million times while driving. Thinking of getting a paint matched sampler bottle from lowes and putting down a small touch up.

So, I wasn't the only one.

Mine came from Hyperscapes Hydrascapes. It's the 24 in vinyl sticker. I cut the end off and put it on the door. Thought my wife would like some decorations while she's sitting shotgun.

I ordered the same one she had and installed it. I feel bad for copying her. But I HAD TO HAVE IT! it looks so good! Just installed mine. I like the leftover on the door idea. I might do that.

If you really want to fix it, you can. Keep this link for broken plastic of all kinds. www.plastex.net is the stuff you need. Their product can adhere plastics and make broken tabs, fill holes among a number of things. They have what they call a molding bar- think silly putty that is firm at room temperature. If you heat up, you have time to press and make a "copy" of what you want re-made (I fixed a rear tail light over 15 years ago and it is still holding strong). You can use that molding bar to make your repairs have the same texture as well. I would suggest practicing on something else first (stop off at a junk yard and buy anything with texture if you are worried). You will find you will repair , keep and be happier with previously broken stuff if you keep this on hand. I don't sell this stuff or have any financial interest in this, but they are good people and make a great product.

doesn't look too bad. you might try one of the dozens of vinyl/leather repair kits on amazon.
I'd get one with textured swatches to get an ok surface match. the color matching is all on you lol.
