i can't see a scenario where this happened in transportation!Yesterday I received communication that my Bronco arrived. This was perfect as I have a big family vacation coming up on the weekend and it would be an awesome addition to the convoy.
I arrived as it was about to head to predelivery inspection and my salesman let me sit in it and take a look around. I immediately noticed that the left and right sides of the hood were about 1cm below the fenders. Got out to take a look and discovered the damage with the salesman. There are two large dents in the hood, the plastic cowl is bent out of place with tabs broken. The hinges are sunk in almost 1in from the fenders. Other plastic cowl pieces on the mirror assembly are broken and gouged. The vehicle was transported via rail to Houston then by truck to the dealer. Somewhere in between, something must have crushed it.
Waiting to hear back from the dealer on what recourse I have for repairs. But itās a huge bummer that I am sure everyone can sympathize with.
