Need some help/advice please?
Installed the CVF inercooler for my '23 Wildtrak including keeping the shutter motor/actuator connected and mounted to the included bracket from CVF, but I can't get rid of the P05A1 trouble code (no matter how many times I clear it w/the procal) for an active Grill Air Shutter A Position Sensor Minimum/Maximum Stop Performance ~ I've replaced the actuator/motor and double checked all connections and all are secure?

Thoughts?

Pull the battery let it sit for a few minutes then reconnect also make sure that the actuator can move freely.

Pull the battery let it sit for a few minutes then reconnect also make sure that the actuator can move freely.
Thanks, Ill try the battery disconnect and yes the actuator is mounted as to not have any binding

Need some help/advice please?
Installed the CVF inercooler for my '23 Wildtrak including keeping the shutter motor/actuator connected
I’m disconnecting my shutters this weekend. Did you disconnect (during install) at the motor assembly or the harness under the driver side front bumper? I’m trying to find the easiest spot to disconnect without removing the bumper. I guess I’ll know once I’m under there and remove armor/drop the IC but figured I’d ask.

I disconnected at both ( I didn't want to put any undo stress on the harness during removal)
I pulled the bumper and removed the actuator from the shutter assembly (as the shutter assembly doesn't fit with the CVF intercooler)

When I installed a new front bumper, I took the shutter assembly out of there. I just unplugged it and never had any codes or anything.

Still no luck, disconnected the positive and negative cables for 15 minutes and still throwing the P05A1 shutter code 🤔

Is it actually setting a check engine light? Or is it just a code in the system?
Because if it’s the latter, just leave it and don’t worry about it. The code isn’t going to hurt anything.

If your shutters move freely, check your connections again n make sure the pins didn't get tweeked n the connections are fully seated, clicked in.

Just curious... is it a high or low mount intercooler?

The shutters are removed with the CVF intercooler install but you are supposed to keep the actuator that opens and closes the shutters plugged into avoid the code and CEL~ A direct replacement low mount for the factory intercooler

I did double triple check them but I did struggle a bit with the plug into the actuator but I think it is seated? Unfortunately I didn’t pay close attention to it before uninstalling from the shutter assembly

I tried this as well but eventually CEL codes started. Replugged motor in and secured it to the shutter-less mounting frame.

the biggest issue is that the motor is supposed to only open 90 degrees before stopping, the motor as it is can open more then that, hence the code. i ordered a 2021+ f150 motor with the add relocation kit to try, they seem to share the same connector across most of fords lineup.
i have the same issue with my bronco raptor.
