I was able to visit my dealer and roll my unscheduled MY22 to MY23, dealer copied DL and I signed order for COVP. The next day I received the order confirmation email from Ford. I have asked dealer to send me COVP confirmation, but I have yet to get anything. What exactly does this look like? Is it an email dealer can forward to me? Does anyone have one they can share?

Ask for a copy of your DORA. That will tell you exactly what you ordered and your schedule status (10-19).

yes an email the dealer can forward you. this was from my first order:

I didn't do one for my re-order but have confirmed my priority code is a 10

And to add, can the dealer change priority code and customer get confirmation from Ford WITHOUT COVP? I received a confirm from Ford when they changed my priority code. Just want to make sure they couldn't have missed or botched COVP so there may be issues down the line.

Are any of you having any luck with getting your dealer doing a COVP on your bronco? Mine doesn't think they need to do a COVP.
I scanned my driver's license and emailed to my dealer with approval of the proposed DORA sheet. I got a confirmation email from Ford minutes later. If they don't do COVP, you lose your order/reservation. If you aren't a holdover from 2022, the dealer can't submit your order yet.

According to @zachgranger it doesn’t matter on the Bronco cause it’s based on timestamp. If I was a sales manager I would still manually put everyone’s order at priority 10 just to be sure. Especially, if it doesn’t matter well what’s it gonna hurt to put everyone’s at priority 10?

Is Priority Code 10 a good or bad thing? My code is a 10 also.

In my case, I received the DORA from my dealer, I e-mailed back saying I approved, then got an e-mail confirmation from Ford later that night (Fri 9/23). I didn't send back a signed DORA or a copy of my drivers license until Sunday night. So, yes, you can get an e-mail confirmation from Ford before submitting the COVP info. My DORA shows priority 17.

Now that we’re all re-ordered, resigned, verified, etc, wonder how Ford will prioritize all of us and fill our orders.

If they were smart, they’d get us on out of the way before moving on to anything else, as we are all collectively bad PR that could become good PR or at least neutral while enjoying our Broncos. Seems once people take delivery and run a trail, all feels right as rain.

I asked what was needed, he said that I was good to go, they had previously taken a copy of my driver's license. I've heard that a signed DORA is sometimes done, and I've heard that a DORA from the updated order should be enough. I'm not feeling good about it, not sure who can verify COVP.

I went in yesterday and watched him pull up COVP and input my information. Seems like the traditional lack of information between ford and dealers.

COVP is just a way Ford is holding dealers accountable. Make sure orders are legit customers. Its a place where your dealer will input your name, address, email, phone #, order number. need to submit a signed DORA or buyers order along with DL. Ford will review it and approve it as long as all the information in correct. Simple process. Ford will send your dealer a confirmation email, usually within seconds. The dealer can forward it to you, but you really do not need it whatsoever as a customer.

Priority code means nothing as long as its 10-19.

This is meant to weed out some of the orders that are bogus and clogging up the order banks. Also forces dealership to communicate with customers making sure they are getting the correct build.
