Question for Squatched : If I understand your last reply correctly?

I am swapping from a "capable " bumper with parking sensors to a "modular" bumper with parking sensors. I can swap my factory rear outer sensors with factory front "capable" sensors to gain the 90 degree clearance needed. My used Modular came with the sensor holders so no mod needed there and the factory capable wiring harness will fit without issue?

Does that sound correct?

Thanks

I know this is a year old but did you have any luck using the original wiring harness from the modular bumper? I’m in the same situation but can not get it to work. Even with the FDRS update, I keep getting a park aid fault. I’m ready to just use the capable bumper harness but didn’t feel like tearing both bumpers apart.

Sad to say, I am just now getting around to prepping the mod bumper for installation. I have all of the parts and the tow hooks are out being powder coated and the bumper is at the paint and body shop being repainted.

I should have an update here in a few weeks.

I appreciate the update. I messed around with it today. You can use the original modular wiring harness when you swap but no matter what I did my Bronco (originally with a capable Bronco) would not acknowledge the sensors from the modular bumper. Not sure if the park assist module can be updated to accept the new sensors but I couldn’t figure out anything in forscan or see where anyone did it before.
