exactly, if I wanted to have them on without the highs, I could use an AUX switch and a diode on the power coming out of the relay to turn them on whenever I want, but I agree that I would never want them on without highbeams
I really need to study up on diodes. My knowledge is very much lacking on how to effectively use them, and it seems like I’m missing out

I really need to study up on diodes. My knowledge is very much lacking on how to effectively use them, and it seems like I’m missing out
From what I know, and I've used them but it's been a long time, they simply make electricity go one way. maybe there are different types, but that's what I remember.

On that note, maybe nobody try this circuit until I do ;)

Put simply, it's a one-way valve for electricity! Not too complicated! You'll know you need one if you turn on the thing you just wired up, and it turns on another thing that you didn't want it to.
