So I wanted to have the doors off but my dog fully secured. Ended up with a ruffwear 3 buckle harness and the Kong tether that attaches to the latch anchor points.
Works great and as you can see now everyone can enjoy no doors safely.
I did just remove my broadict drawers. They made noise, were too shallow to carry anything helpful and added weight. I am looking at the arb drawers if anything because of the drawer depth.
An underrated value of a drawer is that with the top off and the car locked you essentially have locked...
I did sound skins on the floor, doors and cargo area. 10/10 would do again. Weāre all still driving a shoebox through the wind but itās a worthy project.
Foam admittedly isnāt the most space efficient. Rails and socket stands give you more tools per drawer.
Also grip edge does a quarterly series of specials, so one of those trays was āfreeā but they arenāt cheap.
They are on par with Mac because these guys built the RBRT tech. Project Farm...
So kinda. I highlighted the center hvac chute (you can see 3) and then where the tube is when itās there. Itās removed here because I was doing a different project. (Sound deadening)
The included mount is high quality for sure. It just killed a bit too much of the visibility for mean with our short windshields. But itās all trial and error IMO
The bolts are M6x1.00 and I needed an extra half an inch. So I bought 2 of this exact spec
M6x1.00 x 45mm
Holding up great. Nice and sturdy. The XL might have a little different dimensions and weight but I am not pushing clearances with the regular tread.
So, in my 2-door bronco I used to have the RAM seat mount for my Garmin Tread. I like having the Garmin Tread Overland for full off-line maps that don't require my phone, and the inReach SOS function (again that doesn't require my phone). That setup was rock solid - but infringed on the...
I wanted a whole skid plate setup for my 25, Badlands Sasquatch 4dr. But it already had some under body protection. I know it's not amazing stuff - but the engine and transfer case skids felt pretty beefy IMO.
I digress. I really didn't see many posts about getting JUST the transmission skid...
This is the way. I just did it. Not all dealers were listed as an installer but for 500 plus 191 for included install I was on my way. The dealer has to honor that price. For 191 it kept me off the garage floor, was warranty work, and all the programming was done.
100% possible and Iāve done it. Make sure youāre behind the airbag. No wires crossing in front and youāre good.
Whenever Iām close to an airbag I disconnect the battery. Removes any risk.
