Not true. It uses a camera and will use ACC sensor if available.Brakes do not apply automatically unless you have ACC turned on. So I'll assume Broncos with no ACC will only ever get the RED ALERT alarms and no kind of brake assist.
Correct. All Broncos come standard with automatic emergency braking. Not true. It uses a camera and will use ACC sensor if available.
Yep. That’s a good point to bring up also. As you noticed, they all have pedestrian detection alsoMine worked and completely locked all 4 brakes when a homeless guy on a bike came from a side street into traffic right in front of me while i was going about 20mph. Definitely would have hit him without it.
Love the NJ “Whatta Doin’”It worked on mine...
It will only work if you are doing 30+ mile per hour. It automatically applied the breaks for me on one occasion. It’s been answered, but on YouTube.

I saw that video, that’s exactly what I think my Bronco would do.It’s been answered, but on YouTube.
thats a great video. You didn’t look very close. So did you brake, or didIt worked on mine...
and which package do you have?Mine worked and completely locked all 4 brakes when a homeless guy on a bike came from a side street into traffic right in front of me while i was going about 20mph. Definitely would have hit him without it.
Hmmm, what's concerning is that there is no specific information from FORD, explaining what it can, or can't do. I asked the dealer I purchased the Bronco from, (a large dealership in SOCAL), and he was unable to explain the details. He sent me to the service manager for an answer. The service manager told me, "there are so many models out there, that I don't know the specifics of all the cars we sell." What I find uncomfortable is the only way I will find out what it can do, or not, is to have a collision. To anyone who writes, 'just be careful when you drive', My answer is, 'Obviously' but why advertise a function that "may, or may not. work". We live in a world of driver's on their phones. We also live in a generation of other automobile manufacturer's whose technology is extremely functional. Ford should teach their employees to explain how the technology works in every vehicle they sell. Sorry for the rant. Now I am curious, has anyone had their collision warning go off at something between 3mph and 25mph?That's not true. It's active above 3 mph.
Pedestrian detection is active up to 50 mph.
Plenty of specific information available from Ford on their website regarding standard features and how they work. It's also in your owners manual.Hmmm, what's concerning is that there is no specific information from FORD, explaining what it can, or can't do. New BD, Sasquatch, with mid package and copilot360. NOT the copilot360+. which the dealer, that sold me the vehicle. forgot to mention has a lot of bells and whistles left out. In fact there isn't anything 360degrees about this car.... I find it odd that Ford can call it that.
All the rear camera's and rear parking alerts work as advertised.
However, with 1700 miles under my belt, I haven't had the smallest hint that the frontal collision system would warn me, or do anything at all.
I've even tried to pull up to another vehicle at highway speed, and nothing alerts me that the vehicle could potentially react.
I think I have all the settings set correctly.
In my old Range Rover, anytime I came up too closely to anything, the car would give me a little shake.
The only Bronco owners I know personally have the full 360+ system, and they tell me that the system warns them, almost annoyingly often.
Does someone have some experience with collision avoidance on these in-between copilot 360 vehicles? It sure seems like the car isnt going to
do anything but let me crash.
I can only speak for my car (2024 Bronco Raptor) and believe me, it works. A car pulled right out in front of me and the "red square" on the dash threw out the warning and the brakes went on just a split second before my foot hit the brake pedal. Had I not had my seatbelt on, I would have departed through the windshield! Damn, those 37" tires really grab to stop! I always thought my Grand Cherokee auto braking didn't work so to test I ran a clothsline across the street (above the roof line) and hung a huge tarp from it providing a solid but a barrier that wouldn't damage anything. It worked at the very last moment.New BD, Sasquatch, with mid package and copilot360. You're one the bright lights here an so helpful....but I'm suspicious. I have a 22 BD Mid....and never had AEB hit....once or twice it maybe should have. I thought it was on the High package? I do hope you're correct, tho', some comfort in knowing that....I've had two very close calls with peds wearing dark clothing at night crossing in front of me. No warnings.Yep. That’s a good point to bring up also. As you noticed, they all have pedestrian detection also
