I changed the spark plugs on my wife's 2023 2.7 bronco a couple days ago. All went well. Easier than a coyote plug swap. We only have 51000 on the bronco but it had started running ruff until the engine warmed up. The plug swap solved the problem. All the old plugs looked to be in good condition, and the gap was still in spec on all of them. I used Oem motorcraft plugs. I do run premium Shell fuel. Just a heads up if anyone has the same problem.

spark plugs only? How was the reach? Did you need a bunch of extensions and such?
Yes, spark plugs only. If you have a Sasquatch bronco you definitely need a stool to stand on. I used a magnetic 5/8" spark plug socket that swivels, and 2 6" extensions.

The 2.7 really isn't that bad to get around. People get scared of all the plumbing. It may take a little more effort, but nothing impossible 🤠.

I noticed the same thing about plugs on my 2.3 at 50k - plugs looked fine but it definitely idled better with new ones.

I really didn't think replacing the plugs was going to do anything, especially after I got them out and looked at them, but it did. It runs alot smoother. I guess ecoboost engines prefer fresh plugs.

It's been said that turbo engines in general are hard on plugs. Changing them after40-50K is probably good practice 🤠

Ford severe service maintenance (which most of us likely fall into...) recommends 60K for plugs on the EB's.

Thanks for the info. Didn't know that. This the first turbo engine I've ever owned.
