Capable bumper touch up paint?

When I purchased my Bronco, it had a front license plate bracket. I removed it, and noticed some scuffing on the capable bumper where it rubbed. Today, I noticed some of the paint in that scuffed area started to chip. What is my best option to touch up this area? I did some searching, and found mention of Rustoleum “Rugged Black” Custom Lacquer spray paint being a good match for the modular bumper. Would this be a good match for the capable bumper as well?

Almost my entire Bronco that isn’t Carbon Grey is is now Rustoleum Truck Bed Black. So makes it very easy when I need to touch up anything because it’s a very easy color/paint to find in stock. It matches very well to the factory plastic and black color

I have used the Sharpie trick for small chips and blotted it with a cloth and a dab of rubbing alcohol/water mix to knock down the shine. Works well...temporarily...if you're careful.

I need to try that my next pre-winter session where I touch up all the scrapes and scuffs on the bumpers, rock rails, skid plates and chassis from the season's trail rides. I've been using Rustoleum semi-gloss black which is ok but could be better on the bumpers. I am more concerned about corrosion prevention in WI winters than an immaculate appearance.

I've also had good luck with Rustoleum High Temp Black .. which is really made for like grills and fireplaces, but has a really nice flat black finish and is pretty durable. And if you wanted to use it on your exhaust, it'd work... not that i have, but I do use it on a lot of hot piping at work and on my fireplace at home as well.

The truck bed paint has just a little bit of texture - almost perfectly matches the molded plastic texture on the fenders and door handles... and a satin~ish or so finish that matches the powder coat most everything seems to use.

I always seem to have the best luck with Rustoleum. Krylon makes me want to cry, and store/off brands are just a waste of money.

Really the biggest thing is finding a stock color that you can get ahold of easy. Once you paint whatever it is once, the touchup will always match from then on out, and you don't have to worry about special order or anything. Apart from the entire body or hard top, everything else is small enough a rattle can does pretty good at, and quick/easy to touch up.
