The mount is about as heavy as the winch so its probaly close to 120lbs. I would guess about an inch. With Hoss 3.0 it rides really smooth now lol.
I wrestled with the notion of using the Ford mount...but no sensors. Then the knock offs, but too much weight and not enough structure IMHO. I also thought of hidden winch, but way too much to fabricate/move/etc...finally, I settled on the Havoc bumper. It weighs the same as the modular bumper, so the only weight that went up is the 43 pounds or so of winch (I went with OpenRoad 13k setup...just over 300 bucks). Bonus is not blocking the intercooler, keeping functional sensors, keeping ACC, keeping my 3 inch pod lights, and spending less than the Ford kit would have cost. All I had to do to retain ACC functionality was to measure it with an angle finder prior to removal and installing at the same angle...no need for Ford to adjust it. I did end up getting the Tricky D. frame horn strengtheners...Havoc came with some, but Tricky D's are next level. I then bought camera relocation bracket from M2M and a front plate removal/stow system.-----UNLIKE THE FACTORY FORD WINCH-----

(Which by the way has to be reconfigured through Fordscan at the dealership for the FORD FACTORY Winch to work, then thereafter your ACC is non functional)

(Again with the factory Ford winch this is an issue and again non functional)
-FRONT MOUNTED CAMERA WORKS!!!!
(Again The Ford factory winch blocks the camera 360 view diminished front camera virutally unfunctional)

I thought about this plate because it comes with the wiring for the sensors and camera and washer. I liked the built in "bull bar." But it turns out that the Rough Country one comes with the wiring for the sensor. I found several camera relocation kits on line. A friend of mine swears by the R/C set up, has used his winch with success.
I will buy this bar to throw on the bumper to help protect the winch.
I found a killer deal on a Warn. I know the Badlands is rated well. But. It costs 190 bucks to warranty it for 2 years. The Warn comes with a 7 year warranty for the electronics and lifetime for the mechanicals. Same price in the end, @900 bucks. (100 dollar rebate right now) And I get to support a local business who advertises through our local Bronco group's facebook page.

I would be interested to see what the amp draw is. A lot of people just look at the pulling capacity a winch has. Amp draw is important to see how fast it is going to smoke your battery being no one has a dual battery setup for the 6G Bronco that I'm aware of. The use of pulleys & or snatch blocks can get you pulling capacity, but you can't do much with a high amp draw that will smoke your battery in no time. I would also be interested in the duty cycle as the winch can smoke itself when ran under constant load or beyond its duty cycle rendering it useless

For the price I think it is the one to beat...warranty, 13k capacity, innovative engagement mechanism, synthetic line...and sans control unit and power/negative cables mine weighed in at just over 40 pounds (not the 28kg listed in the manual for the package weight).
Sorry to kinda resurrect this post, but just wanted to verify that the thought is that the frame horns may not need to be reinforced if you get an aftermarket full bumper that has a provision for a winch? I was looking at the fab four stubby bumper versus one of the winch mount options.
Make sure the bumper you are getting has the frame horn reinforcements, it may be winch compatible but not reinforced, if not I would strongly recommend you get something like the TD ones. If the bumper just bolts onto the pads without any kind of tie into the frame horns. The reinforcements will help from bending the bumper into the grille if a recovery is needed. Bolted to just the pads is not enough, well, maybe enough if you are not going to "use" the Bronc.
Definitely throw the Fairlead and winch hook in the garbage though...
