Brown dots in Sync Nav

Recently, I'm seeing brown dots on the nav map. Any thoughts on what they are?

The dots are along my driveway. I don't recall changing any settings. I originally;;y thought "breadcrumbs," but did not think Sync did that. A bit stumped on this one.

They appear when not on an actual road in the GPS. My long driveway (600+ft) is mostly just brown dots on the nav screen now.

It came in really handy once in a river bed - could not figure out exactly where I entered, but the brown dots came to the rescue.

I call them 'Homer dots' as I had a pointer named Homer years ago that would get so excited over a walk, he'd leave little brown dots on the sidewalk for the 1st few blocks.

Interesting, thank you. Odd thing is, my driveway is about 40'-50' long.

I figured out why these dots are appearing everywhere. I was not aware that when you use the front facing camera, it leaves a breadcrumb (dot) trail until the camera goes off (speed) or is shut off. So whenever I use the camera to do things like park in a tight space, breadcrumbs is enabled. Now to figure out when the dot duration times out to clear the clutter on the screen.
