I may trade my ‘22 Sport Big Bend (recent purchase) for a ‘24 4-door Black Diamond or ‘25 Big Bend with Black Diamond package if the numbers make sense.

What is the width of the tailgate? I want to ensure the tailgate can be opened/closed and glass lifted/closed while parked in my two car garage (and without having to open garage and/or pull car out).

I am going to ask the dealer if I can borrow the car to take home and test it with the garage, but curious on everyone’s feedback here.

Good idea to check. The tail gate should swing open no problem. It may butt against the side wall of your garage- mine does but it leaves enough room for the tail gate glass to swing up. When my glass swings up it does contact the reinforcement bars of my garage door when the door is open. I have to be very careful not to leave the glass up when the opening or closing the door or it will interfere and cause significant damage. I have learned to work around this and be careful. My Sas clears my garage lowest point by only 1.5"- it's close but it does clear.

I spoke to dealer and he said I could borrow it prior to purchasing. We are still working out a deal though. It will be a deal breaker if I can’t do the above, but based on your feedback, I should be fine. I need to be able to load up my 85lb German Shorthaired Pointer in the garage. Yeah, a lot revolves around him :)

I should be fine with the Bronco pulling in and out of garage. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo prior. The Bronco is ~1.4” wider overall with mirrors.

Keep in mind that the tailgate has to be 90* open to open the glass above. Good luck!

Dam, that's a big GSP! I've had several in the 50lb range and my dad had one close to 80lb. Great dogs if you can keep up with them...never seem to run out of energy!
