My Bronco was finally built 9/8 and has a ship date of 9/10.

Initially, the ford tracking website said estimated delivery between 9/21 and 9/27, 2024.

Now, the tracking website says estimated delivery between 1/5 and 1/11, 2025?!?!

Is there any way that is accurate? If it has already shipped and left Dearborn, can it really take half of September, all of October/November/December, and part of January to be delivered?

Heading to Atlanta, GA.

Thanks for any guidance!

haha I have read about that but seems directly related to the chip shortage (which is now mostly over) and everything written about it is from 2022

Hopefully it wasn't in a train wreck. Always one of my biggest fears when I order a new car. See what the Dealer can find out.

Try to get a rail car number or if it shipped by truck, tracking for that mode. I can’t remember how to do either but there are some threads on the forum that‘ll give step by step instructions on how to track your Bronco after it ships. Or another forum member might respond to this thread with some detailed instructions.

The Ford tracking website has never been known to be really accurate.

Try 3 years then getting put on factory hold after it is built. It will be worth it as long as you don't get a lemon.

It could be that it had a technical issue in shipping. At the dealership I work for we contacted with Finkle, the company in charge of shipping Ford’s vehicles, to fix vehicles that have a problem that keeps them from being shippable. The problem could be something that keeps it from running, a battery drain, warning lights, etc. 2 or 3 months seems a little excessive, we usually can get them out in a week or two.

Just got updated to 9/17 - 9/23 expected delivery - phew!

Hopeful that the short period of time it said January 2025 was just a glitch.

So excited to receive it! Thanks for the guidance everyone!

Did you take delivery yet? I’m in North Georgia and mine shipped 7/31 and has been sitting at the rail yard in L’ville for nearly 2 months now.

Congrats! Looks great!

I'm thinking something got damaged on mine or broke because there is no way it should be still sitting if yours moved through TDSI that quickly.

My dealership called me today and said my order was going to get scheduled soon, but said there were problems with shipping/railroads right now that would slow things down a bit. He didn't say what, but that's a possible issue with your delay too.

The latest story I got today is that its at the railyard waiting to be trucked over to the dealer, but Ford has a hold on it, presumably for some quality issue. Why its sat there for 2 months on a quality hold at a railyard and not the factory is puzzling and concerning. Anyone else experienced something like this?
