People in such a hurry to run a red light need to get their life organized and not be in a rush all the time......and endanger other people's lives. It's the driver, not the Bronco.

Well he's not driving away from that. I see the right rear flare going into low earth orbit , but the tire is no where to be seen.

Suspension is just maxed out in your screenshot. Tire is there in following frames.

I’d cancelled my reservation but was then lucky enough to find almost my exact configuration on a lot. Didn’t realize how rare they really were. Never seen another one like it in person…

Yep.
Unfortunately I was on the receiving end of such carelessness on my way to work a few years back, if only I could remember when it was as it scrambled my egg a bit . Anyway I was on my Ultra Classic Harley and some lady in a hurry ran the left turn arrow really late just like our Bronco Buddy here and got me & kept going. Only stopped a 2 blocks always because she got a flat tire as I laid in the middle of the intersection. This ordeal taught me that an eye witness is worthless when her insurance refused to pay & went to arbitration ( a word meaning your getting screwed even more) came back 50/50. About the only good outcome was they now have a longer delay at that intersection & I was fortunate not to have been more seriously hurt & now wear a GoPro.
When I see a motorcycle, I always sweat a little. Far less room for error. Ain't like that thing blows up like the Pink Floyd pig when it's hit or nothing.

Used to eat breakfast with some guys I worked with in college. This couple came in every Sunday morning, big guy like 6'5", his wife no kidding 5' even. He was thick but not fat per se. We'd always talk to them.

They don't show up for a few weeks, then we hear he was in a motorcycle accident. After not seeing him for maybe six weeks, he shows up all beat up, moon boot, arm in a sling, single crutch, that kinda thing. So we asked him, what happened?

Well, he was going through a green light one morning (broad daylight) and a semi-trailer fully loaded ran the red light and hit him, dragged him 200ft. The guy gets out in a rage, screaming at him, he's obviously the one worse for the wear. The docs said only cuz he was so big did he even survive, that and the size of the bike kept him from going under the truck.

Cop doesn't give the trucker a ticket cuz he didn't want to "ruin his life (living)". I guess he told the cop he had kids? Told the cop he thought he had the yellow (full load, mind you) and didn't see Mike, because Mike had the green and was going "too fast" and was a motorcycle. So basically, he ran the light because he thought there was no one at the cross light and there was.

So yeah, motorcycles always make me sweat a little.

This is in Dallas, figures, lots of red light runners here.
I thought that looked familiar. Yeah, any road crossing 635 is a mess. Don't know how there's not wrecks on Preston and 635 every day.

Hope the Bronco driver is ok... it could have been a medical emergency, like low blood sugar? Heart attack? Stroke?
Js5t because they ran a red light doesn't mean they did it intentionally.

Yep. A guy I used to work with said it best. "All these people racing to get to where they don't want to be" (work) :sneaky:

Poor innocent cars - stupid shit head red light runners deserve to pay for EVERYTHING.
Props to the white car at 11 seconds hitting their brakes. They looked both ways before crossing.
Too bad NO ONE ELSE DID.
Silver car had ZERO clue what just happened, didn't even try to hit the brakes. Front end doesn't drop at all. Just slammed right into the side of the Bronco.
I don't think the cammer tried to stop until after they hit the Bronco as well... what the actual hell?
Bad. After observing in court over the last two weeks, I’m not surprised. 99% of the legal problems were from uninsured motorists and no or suspended licensed drivers. I sure hope everyone who was hurt or vehicles damaged get their rightful restitution.
*keep driving defensively folks!

99.9% of the time it's because they're a self centered asshat ... the other .1% of the time, sure ... medical emergency. I don't think anyone so far has wished the Bronco driver harm outside of a swift kick in the butt!

I once road with a guy that ran a red light (one time only I road with him)... I said what the hell that was red! he said its okay my brother does it all the time.... We go on he does it again, again he says its okay my brother does it all the time. Then we come to a green light and he stops! I asked what are you doing? It is green! and he says yeah, my brother may be coming the other way......
Haha same joke my dad told me years ago. Wait a minute...is that you, dad?

It's the extra length on that darn 4-door that throws people off. He'd been clear if it was (normal, 2Dr) Bronco.

PSA - driving with too many doors is hazardous. lol

It's obvious that bronco wasn't trying to hurry through the light. They weren't paying attention and just flew into the intersection. I'd put money on their phone went flying out of their hand on the first impact.

As far as motorcycles, I get the love of them, but ultimately you're playing Russian roulette with crazy, distracted, drunk, etc drivers. Same for cyclists. I would love to ride long distances but can't justify it on roads with cars.

While all conceivably possible, The probability is that they were just distracted and not paying attention....

And it took the Germans years to figure out why the hell Americans needed cup holders... because when you are in a vehicle you should be all about driving, nothing else. You want a drink stop somewhere. Cultural differences...
