With the Wildtrak going the way of the dinosaurs, the Badlands will likely become the leader now. But, the Braptor suggestion has been planted into my thoughts with the idea of selling my Ranger since my Rzr and associated gear could be hauled by it easily. Welcome to my indecisiveness! At the right price, the BRaptor is a steal (someone local to me got one for $69k).

Both are great choices, but a test drive in the Raptor would probably push you over the edge. It’s just bad a** out the box. I had the badlands 2dr, my friend bought a Raptor and talked me into driving it. I now have a Raptor instead.

Howdy, figured I'd point out that only 2025+ will get rear seat vents (might not be a big deal if only you and your wife).
Should be a whole lot easier to add the tow package properly than on my 2022 Wildtrak from what I've heard, but would have got that from the factory. I needed to install the trailer tow module with all the required wiring and used forscan to get the trailer sway feature and everything working right on mine.
Tailgate table is available aftermarket now, and will help create level floor in back if using Deep Sleep setup. Will need space in trailer or elsewhere for your gear, but sleeps great.
Won't get it from Ford, but I recommend upgrading the intercooler and using a Panda Power Module with step cooler spark plugs if towing long distance. My engine temps went from over 230 to around 212 while towing long distance at highway speeds in Texas. These can run hot if you pay attention using the "gauges" display. Oil catch cans were installed right off the bat and I just empty the sludge while changing my oil.
