Bronco lights up when a software update is initiated

My driveway camera alerted me to motion, so I looked at it and saw all of my Bronco exterior lights flash on/off. Then I went into the Ford app and noticed that a software update was in progress.

Hadn't noticed that behavior before and thought it was interesting.

Yes, the latest update (no power up version) behaves much differently than the previous ones. It’s a welcome change annd all future updates will act the same.
