2nd gen broncoThe F150, Mustang and Explorer would all like to have a word with you. What great selling Ford product were you referring to that got redesigned into something useless??
To be fair, that's literal light-years ahead of whatever that affront to vehicular design the silverado is supposed to be.I'll just leave this here

The argument was Ford taking a great selling product and redesigning it into something useless. The EB was many things but great selling was not one of them. And while the 2nd gen has its flaws, it still maintained the basic configuration and capabilities. It also outsold the original as well as the competition.2nd gen bronco
The Mustang definitely evolved into something different than the original. Ford had the good sense to get back to what worked in the first place. The F150, Mustang and Explorer would all like to have a word with you. Man, I hope not. I love how they quickly changed course with the new Ranger. They got rid of the downsloped nose and high ass.Ya'all know they will eventually make the Bronco rounded and sloped.
It’s sad that a vehicle gets a shitty re-design to save a thimble full of gas.Looking at what not to do I hope.
It's inevitable that it gets a little more aerodynamic as they chase higher fuel economy.
I’ve had 3 Taurus SHO’s. They were fun to drive, especially when other drivers thought it was an unmarked police car. I even had cops wave to me thinking I was one of themThe 500 was underrated. It was a very impressive car- sat high- not far off from the Explorer, very comfortable, AWD, huge trunk, impressive MPG. People wanted SUVs though.
You’re kidding right? The argument was Ford taking a great selling product and redesigning it into something useless. The EB was many things but great selling was not one of them. The Mustang is my favorite car. It has been since I first laid eyes on it at the ‘64 World’s Fair. I haven’t seen the ‘24 in the flesh yet, but from a side view, I think it resembles a Camaro too closely. Hope I’m wrong.I think the last couple years of the Mustang have been a huge move in the right direction. I think they've given a nod back to the pony year models pre '69.
EDIT: Crusher, you think that's a bad thing ? My sweet spot for the Mustang is the pony car era. low, sleek, clean, graceful. None of the Mustangs were post '68 in my opinion.
Yes, this new iteration Is getting steroided up. Too humpy, curvy. I had this very conversation with a poster on another site. I wish Chevrolet would do the same thing, and slim the Camaro down a bit.The Mustang is my favorite car. It has been since I first laid eyes on it at the ‘64 World’s Fair. You missed the point of the argument. You’re kidding right?
I think you are thinking of the chevy blazer. lolFord's history is to take a great product that sells well and redesign it into something completely different and useless and call it the same name.
I’ve seen a 70’s LincolnYou’re kidding right?
they completely changed it to be bigger and more useless off-road hence why celebrities were buying them
The 2nd gen was less capable and more mall crawl. Why do you think they went back to this OG style now.
Useless off road?! More useless than a crown Vic?You’re kidding right?
