Following behind you down the line apparently. My mods and tear tag are up. Woohoo! Now we wait!!Ok, my modules are all up and got my tear tag so mine is built and ready. Yay.
Now comes the unknown: waiting for some update with no schedule.
We'll see.
Good luck to us all for a quick turn around.
I can't speak for main assembly in this case, but some of this has now become myth. Just over half (I believe) of departments in the plant I'm at are on what's coined 4 crew, or flex schedule. It's areas that are in production 24/7 including manufacturing/machining and assembly. You have 4 teams on 12 hours. They run 5a-5p and 5p-5a. 2 sets work Mon/thurs/fri while the other 2 sets work tue/wed/sat/sun. Then the following week the sets rotate their days. So in other words the Friday myth for some teams would be on a Monday or Wednesday. There's also plenty of traditional Monday-Friday departments that are forced weekend work depending on demand that isn't scheduled until Thursday and even then those postings constantly change at the last minute but if they budget and the "plan" is to work the weekend it has to be posted by Thursday otherwise it can't be forced.Same here. My blend day is this Friday so I suspect mine will sit on the line in pieces over the weekend and get finished next week. People can't wait to get out on Friday and don't want to be there on Monday. UUUGGGHHH this shoule be fun![]()
Never fear. Once you've started production the tracker gets unreliable. With your blend date, once you past that and you have your tear tag you're built! My dealer had better access to track progress for me after that point but eventually the tracker did occasionally update, just late. You guys are making me nervous. My tpw was the 1st with a blend date of the 5th. It went into production on the 8th and still sits at that. Modules are populated with a tear tag but the tracker still stuck on in production.
