Sorry (not really) to pile on with the pics but the evening I picked up my Bronco there was an event at the dealership on their mini-off road course (pretty dang cool) where we had an opportunity to run the course with an experienced "wheeler" as well as experienced spotters. Below are a couple...
Alright Gang, my Bronco has arrived!
First impression is a good one!
Sorry to report I had zero tumbling boulders on any displays at any point.
My local dealership here in Nacogdoches TX was fantastic to deal with and I actually enjoyed this experience (even with the waiting) of which this...
Anyone try the Broaddict Mud Flaps? They are well priced and the design seems great (just have to get past the awful aluminum bedazzling on the lower half - looks replaceable) as the concept of a bracket is nice.
That was super easy to track the car with that phone system! I now know my Bronco made it to Houston (area) on April 23rd. Cool! I was expecting it to be in the Dallas area, but I am in-between so no worries. Very exciting :) Thanks!
Ford Chat provided me with a rail car number back on 4/19. I looked at ways to track the rail car, but was unwilling to pay for a service to do that. I tried through the CSX website but again they want you to setup a business account in order to track cars (rail) so I am just twiddling thumbs...
Mine has a blend date of 4/11 but no updates yet to suggest it met that blend date. Keep the good news rolling folks so I can be happy for y'all while being hopeful and jealous on my end ;)
I think white Broncos may have jumped the line yesterday for some reason...
Sooo, updated today :) I think this suggests my Bronco is being built today? They are telling me to check out my window sticker, but there is no link "lower on the page"
exciting!
You seem to have things covered. I already jumped the gun and ordered my side steps (IAG Rock Rail Full length EZ-Steps for the 2 door) and a couple other more minor items to take advantage of their sale :)
Yep, I am a wild man... let the thumb twiddling continue!
I just got off with Ford Chat and they provided me a VIN so I could check status all on my own like a big boy! They have my build day set as 4/11 (Thursday) so it will be interesting to see if that remains the case
I would be all over a kit that would allow for the easy removal and re-installation of the rear seats. 2 door especially, but I bet 4 door folks would appreciate the idea as well in some cases. Good idea!
I was wanting the 4 dr, but when I test drove one the B-pillar was hitting my shoulder to the point I couldn't even sit up straight comfortably. The salesman suggested I at least sit in the 2 dr and it was a huge difference! Much more comfortable.
My aim is to do some crawling but I want to be...
