Broken Rear Brow

Hi Guys,

Took off my soft top then my "Rear Bow" snapped. Super weird. Took it to Ford Galpin and they said I had to replace the whole thing, which cant be right. Also said it would cost north of $21,000. Which i think is Ridiculous because it is such a small part. I just need to replace this corner piece right? New to the off road vehicle life. Please help!!

did they mean $21. That makes far more sense. If not, go to another dealer because they obviously have no idea what they are talking about unless they are trying to severely rip you off

Do you have lift struts installed? The failures I've seen is from too much "up" tension on the top and you have to slam it down harder to overcome the tension. The corners are super weak cast aluminum and not repairable.

Definitely try another dealer first. If not. Try this group. Be careful of scams. If you can’t pick it up it’s a scam and never pay first or at the very least use PayPal and make sure seller sends invoice for hoods or services to be protected. Don’t just use the send money option. Scammers will also try to sway you away from PayPal.

16-21k is the current price for the entire soft top if you were to buy it part by part and include dealership labor. You just need that part that snapped that people have screen shotted.

later … probably way later when the soft top is available as an accessory it’ll probably be about 4500 is my guess.
