Hi everyone,

Brand new to the forum as I just picked up a low miles 22' black diamond sasquatch with the 2.3lt. Been shopping broncos for 3 years and finally found what I was looking for in my price range and couldn't be happier! I plan on storing her in the winter but still want to get a professional undercoating done to protect everything on the trails, and the minor salt it may see in the fall/spring. Want to go with a hard coat option like line x or Rhino, but am looking for recommendations on shops in MI area that will take their time and do a great job. Thanks in advance, looking forward to joining the bronco community!

I’m interested to see where this will go. I have mine sprayed with Krown every year (was in NY, 2 winters on my ‘23 BL with rust only on the driveshaft, was there the day I picked it up…). I had an Wrangler LJR that the knucklehead previous owner sprayed with Raptor liner and it did NOT prevent rust on the body. Good luck with a hard-coat for rust prevention.

[/QULinda!

I have a 2017 ram that I had undercoated with line x at about 5k miles and it still looks immaculate underneath at 70k. (I wasnt super impressed with the shop that did it, but liked the product) Hoping i would get the same results on a bronco but don't know for sure.

Hard finish products have their pros and cons. I use Salt Shift rust shield (easiest stuff to ever use) and it works. You may have to reapply ever 2-3 years but well worth it and a lot less expensive

Fluid film looks promising. Motor city auto spa has awesome prices. 2-300$

Trying to get it done soon but its such a pain getting home on the weekend to get it done.
