I live on the WI/IL border between Milwaukee and Chicago. I am wondering if anyone has a Dealership service department they would recommend.
My Badlands with less than 2,000 miles has the Sta-Bar disconnect error message and I had to bring it in for service. I am not too confident with the service department at the dealer near me.
UPDATE: I wound up taking my Bronco to Middleton Ford. They diagnosed and repaired the Sta-Bar Disconnect error in three days. All parts necessary were emergency ordered. They caught and replaced a part my local dealership said was fine and not the problem. My local dealership was going to take out the rear seats and the flooring to access sensors under the seats and gave me a two to three week estimate for parts.
I received a loaner car from Middleton Ford. Everyone in the service department was very knowledgeable, they answered all my questions and even stayed past closing to meet me for pickup so they could explain what was repaired in the car in person. Several employees at their dealership
own Broncos and it seems they are very knowledgeable about the Bronco. They are also constantly upgrading their Broncos and trying out new options. So they have been a good source for my questions about upgrades.
I would give this service department 5 stars and would never hesitate to take my Bronco there in the event service is required again.
