Wow! Thanks everybody!

Lot's of great info to think about for which some I had not considered. And depending on my mood, the foot switch is not a bad idea cause I'm old and still have a few cars with the foot switch.

Guess I will NOT be drilling any holes soon until I can sleep on a few of these suggestions. My dash thanks everyone.....

I think something like this mounted near your headlight switch will be unobtrusive, easily accessed, and not too out-of-place when seen. Bonus: this is a very low-cost solution.

Yea, it requires a hole, but any option that doesn't is going to be something that has a very add-on look, or will cost as much as the OEM switches. The above switches are just a few dollars.
I used one of these that came with my Diode Dynamics light kit. I pulled the center console and used a step drill to mount it and a unswitched 12V outlet. Pretty happy with how it came out.

This is definitely form over function. I like the look, but my first thought is forgetting it's there and reaching for the grab handle.
I don't know that I have ever actually used that grab handle ever in any Bronco I have been in, so not an issue for me but I guess if you use it regularly then could be an issue.

Thank you for sharing this! This was my exact plan for whenever I get lights, I just hadn’t had the time to check the clearances behind that piece. Glad to know it works.

Is it hard to get to that area? I have a switch exactly like that that im trying to find a place for.

You have to take the center console out. The only hard part was removing the screws holding the shifter handle on (2 small set screws you have to get at from the front of the shifter). Best way to do that is to turn the car off with the wheels chocked in drive - this allows the shifter to be farther from the dash giving you more room to access the set screws. I believe I watched a video from buckle up buttercup showing the removal... Figured out the shifter thing on my own after scratching my hand a bit.

Funny thing is, I actually found that video you’re talking about earlier this morning and did the exact same thing. I don’t have the A-pillar lights yet, but I wanted to look underneath there to see what was behind it so I’d know what I was getting myself into beforehand. So you just used a step drill to make the hole?

Yes. Make a measurement on the diameter of the switch, then use the closest step drill size. You can get the step drill bit pretty cheap at harbor freight...

Awesome thanks for the info feel a bit weary drilling into that plastic I’m sure as long as I take my time it’ll come out perfect like yours did. I think the switch I will end up with out of the kit is 3/4!
