Bass Knob in Center Console

For those who've mounted their bass knob in the center console near the window switches, how difficult was it and how did you route it without removing the entire assembly? Thanks in advance.

Hmmm that position may be awkward or inadvertently bumped .... I just 3M taped it to the left bottom of HVAC console where my Samsung S9 is velcroed to .....invisible....didn't even have to disassemble anything dash or console wise to wire it up.

Extremely easy.

Hardest part by far is getting the stupid little trim covers off the bolts that hold the center console down so you can run the wire up under the shifter section.

You don't need to remove the entire section, but you do want to get at least one side unbolted so you can tuck the wire up in there from under the carpet.

Once you got the wire, the window switch panel just pops out and easy to get your hand in there and do whatever.

Thanks @Brian_B! It was actually really easy. Just in case any one is trying to do the same, I would say start with removing the window switch. There, you'll know if you need to remove the other bolts holding down the center console. My hold hand could fit in there easily.
