i was surprised too but there is a lot
Of ford dealers within 75 miles of me
Expand your search to 200/250 miles.
You could save several thousand sometimes.
I've done it several times.
I look at it as, if somebody offered you $2/3 grand to drive 4 hours and back, would you do it?
Saving the couple grand is essentially paying yourself.

Also, Squatch is worth it if you are considering 35's ... imo.
My Methods and Toyos were something like $3600 in late 2021.
So if you can get a great deal on one, it's a no brainer.

I have an automatic. However, if I were looking for a manual it would have to have SAS... or at least a rear locker, but more likely SAS, as I can't think of a lot of reasons to own a manual other than for off road these days.

Hence, if you are looking for resale down the road, and you want a manual... then I'd get a Bronco with SAS. I just can't imagine anyone buying a manual Bronco without SAS. The market is just too small... if you're thinking resale. The 10-speed in the Bronco is just fine, and there is always manual mode. Not sure why you'd insist on a manual.

PS -- my own 4x4s have been split between autos & manuals. Manuals = 2 FJ40s, one 2011 Jeep Wrangler, one Mitsu Montero, one Bronco II, and one Toyota truck. Autos = Bronco 6Gen, a different Mitsu Monero, 2016 Wrangler, 1995 big Bronco.

in 75 miles I’m seeing 12 but when I go to the actual dealer website 10 of them are actually auto. I’m starting to look as far as 150 miles and I get I think 1 more but it’s like right at that 150 mile away mark lol
That has irked me beyond belief...it's not unique to Ford dealerships. The internet managers all seem to think if you can manually move gears by paddle or level, it's a manual...no need to actually look for that magical third pedal.

I wasted a trip down to Amarillo to look at multiple vehicles listed as 'manual.' None of them were, in fact, manual. Even after it was pointed out to them a month ago, they STILL haven't fixed the listing.

On the dealer orders, matters are not helped that they all too often order a manual on a stripper instead of putting some useful options into the vehicle. Then, when it doesn't sell, they point and shout how manual trannies are not wanted which leads to the further demise of the millennial anti-theft device.

That said, there is a Base Manual in black in Amarillo (Geme Messer on Soncy).

I’m considering just ordering one. I built one on the ford site and seems to make more sense to actually get a big bend for just a few hundred bucks more than a base and adding like one or 2 options on it. it ends up being a few thousand less than others I see and I’m getting exactly what I want. Obvious downside is waiting for it but I don’t “need” it right now, I have another car in the meantime.

anyone order a manual one? I assume wait times are probably longer

Yea still not a ton. A few used ones I can find, probably a lot of lease turn ins. Any idea how these hold value? I’m seeing a few in the low 30s. Say I decide to sell it after 3 years, are they still holding some value?
I have a 24 Big Bend 2 door, 7MT non-sas. Sticker when I bought it was 46k in Sept 24. Here's a screenshot from a carfax report in August that was still in my email.

As for the 7MT I like it. the gears feel a little close together with the stock 32s (on Badlands take off rims) but I am hoping a switch to 285/70/T17 when they wear out helps that a bit.

All my wife wanted for her pavement princess was a hard top and heated seats. We discussed the features multiple times and they either made the ride/noise worse or were things that we would never use.
After a full year and 32k miles she loves it with no complaints. Even the 4A option we passed and hasn't had any issue over a full winter plus. She likes the MGV even during the hottest/humidest summer days.
Even the base Bronco looks nice enough in comparison to everything else out there.
